To ensure travellers enjoy a safe and hassle-free experience over the Eid Al Fitr, Dubai's leading airline, Emirates, has announced an expansion of its schedules across the region with 19 additional flights. The additional Emirates flights will benefit by providing increased connections to these destinations.
Emirates anticipates accommodating over 150,000 customers during Eid Al Fitr across the region, with extra flights scheduled between Dubai and Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman.
Between 7 and 13 April, there will be seven extra flights to Jeddah, providing UAE residents with increased flexibility to travel to Dubai, London, the Maldives, as well as to destinations like Colombo and Karachi.
And between 7 to 20 April, Kuwait will have additional six flights, offering more options to travel to popular destinations like Bangkok, Osaka, Hyderabad, Chennai, Sialkot, and Peshawar.
Additionally, Emirates will increase its flight schedule to Bahrain to 22 weekly flights starting 2 May to accommodate the growing demand for travel to and from Bahrain.
As families gather to celebrate after the Holy Month, the airline will also include four extra flights to Amman and two extra flights to Beirut to accommodate more travellers.
Eid Al Fitr With Emirates
In line with its proud Middle Eastern heritage and to honour Eid traditions, the airline will offer a specially curated Eid menu for travellers on flights departing from Dubai. Passengers can enjoy favourites such as chicken biryani, lamb kibbeh labneh, machbous, vanilla and rose mousse cake, alongside other savoury and sweet dishes.
Additionally, travellers flying over Eid Al Fitr will have access to a wide range of entertainment options on the inflight entertainment system, including up to 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment and over 2,000 movies globally.
