As we’re nearing the end of Holy Month of Ramadan, and approach Eid al Fitr, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced the dates of the holidays for the private sector.
The private sector will have holiday from 29 Ramadan, which will fall on 8 April, until 3 Shawwal. If the Holy Month of Ramadan is 29 days long, then 3 Shawwal will fall on Thursday 11 April, however it is is 30 days long, then the last day of the holiday will be Friday 12 April, which for those who do not work over the weekend would give a 9 day continuous holiday.
Earlier the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced the holidays for public sector employees from Monday 8 April until Monday 15 April.
