Abu Dhabi is gearing up for the launch of a new residential venture, as His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved the launch of the Yas Canal residential project in Al Raha Beach. Valued at Dhs 3.5 billion, the project will comprise 1,146 residential villas designated for UAE nationals.
Oversight for the development lies with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure and the ICT Real Estate Development Company and completion is slated for the last quarter of 2027.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed emphasised that the residential project underscores the leadership's dedication to providing top-tier housing customised to fulfil the requirements of Emirati families in Abu Dhabi. This initiative aims to enhance their overall welfare and standard of living while promoting social cohesion to bolster the emirate's continuous progress.
The Yas Canal residential project operates under a public-private partnership, spearheaded by the ICT Real Estate Development Company, overseeing the project's design, construction, and infrastructure under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure. Sales of residential units designated are coordinated in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
In Brief About The Yas Canal Residential Project
The Yas Canal residential project contains villas, three mosques, a school, and a gym, alongside diverse amenities and shops, spread across a 10,000 square metre (sqm) area. It features three to six-bedroom villas spanning from 350 to 525sqm, situated on plots ranging from 600 to 780sqm.
The Yas Canal residential project provides UAE nationals with housing loans from the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, enabling them to purchase villas within the development.
