The 28th edition of the Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse will conclude with an exceptional closing ceremony on 30 March. The Dubai Racing Club (DRC) revealed plans for the 28th edition, promising a captivating fusion of elite sportsmanship and social celebration. To mark the occasion, a dazzling display featuring 4,000 drones illuminating the sky will take centre stage. Cutting-edge drone, laser, and lighting technology will be used to redefine the limits of visual spectacle in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.
The spectacle will showcase 3D sculptures through LED lights, with each drone offering an impressive 33-minute flight time, promising a breathtaking experience for attendees.
Major General Dr Mohammed Essa Al Adhab, Executive Director of Dubai Racing Club, said, "The Dubai World Cup is well-known for a spectacular closing show, and we are working with our partners to make this one better than ever. With total prize money of $30.5 million spread across nine top-tier races, alongside a record-breaking closing ceremony recognised by Guinness World Records, the Dubai World Cup promises unmatched dining and entertainment, making it Dubai's premier sporting and social event of the year. Expect fierce competition as 125 elite horses from 14 nations compete for victory in the evening races, showcasing the pinnacle of international horse racing.

Gates for the event will open at 1pm on 30 March, and tickets start from Dhs 20 with varied options to choose from.
- General Public admission only ticket is priced at Dhs 20 and includes access to outdoor grandstand seating and interior food court on the Mezzanine Floor.
- Apron Views stand ticket is priced at Dhs 295 and offers a vibrant outdoor setting with food and beverage options, along with the opportunity to participate in the Style Stakes competition.
