His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, recently introduced the Mothers’ Endowment Education campaign. This initiative aims to honour mothers in the UAE by establishing a Dhs 1 billion endowment fund.
For contributions, six convenient channels have been announced to receive donations in tribute to mothers. These donations will contribute to establishing an endowment fund, ensuring sustainable education opportunities for millions worldwide.
Under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the Mothers’ Endowment campaign is dedicated to honouring mothers through donations made in their name. Additionally, its goal is to assist individuals in disadvantaged communities by providing education and training opportunities.
Donations to the campaign, which support education for underprivileged communities, can be made through various channels. These include the campaign’s website, SMS, bank transfers, the campaign’s call centre, the DubaiNow app, or Jood, Dubai’s community contributions platform.

Individuals, businesses, and institutions both within and outside the UAE can make direct donations through the Mothersfund website.
Donations Via Bank Transfers
If you prefer donating through bank transfer, you can do so by transferring funds to the campaign’s official Emirates Islamic Bank account (AE790340003708472909201) in Dirhams.
Donation Via Call And SMS
Those interested in contributing to the campaign can reach out to the dedicated call centre at the toll-free number (8009999) from 10am to 5pm all days of the week to arrange their donation in support of vulnerable individuals' education.
For one-time donations, you can use SMS by sending the word 'Mother' to specific du and etisalat numbers. For instance, sending 'Mother' to 1034 donates Dhs 10, to 1035 donates Dhs 50, to 1036 donates Dhs 100, and to 1038 donates Dhs 500.
Donations Via App And Website
Contributing to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign is also possible through the DubaiNow app, accessible under the ‘Donations’ tab. Digital Dubai collaborates with the campaign to streamline contributions.
Additionally, donations to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign can be made by establishing a dedicated portfolio for institutions and individuals via the Dubai community contributions platform Jood.
This platform enables individuals, businesses, institutions, as well as celebrities, communities, and cultural, sports, and art groups from both the private and public sectors to initiate mini-campaigns via Jood. They can encourage friends, colleagues, and followers to participate in these campaigns.
