Museum Of The Future Design And Construction
Construction of the Museum of the Future began in 2017, employing 3D printing technology in the process. By 2018, the impressive structure was finished, and finally in 2022 with everything in place, it started welcoming visitors.
The museum's distinctive architectural design features 1,024 stainless steel pieces crafted with the help of specialised robots, covering an expansive area of over 17,000 sqm. Meanwhile, the Arabic calligraphy wrapped around the museum conveys messages of inspiration, hope, and motivation from the future city to the world. This calligraphy, designed by Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej, draws inspiration from the impactful words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The quotes translate to, "Our creativity can leave a lasting legacy and the future belongs to those who imagine, design, and create it."
