Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, has achieved a tremendous feat by breaking four Guinness World Records during the New Year celebrations at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba. As for records, a 40-minute fireworks spectacle illuminated the sky and secured three Guinness World Records. Additionally over 5,000 synchronised drones created breathtaking formations, setting a new record for the largest aerial logo.

A first-of-its-kind laser show in the region added a unique touch to the celebrations, enchanting visitors with vibrant colours and serene evening rhythms as they welcomed the New Year. Special shows at iconic locations such as the Emirates Fountain and Glowing Towers Garden, coupled with folklore performances from around the world, further enriched the experience.

The festival grounds buzzed with activity as visitors visited the Heritage Village, where traditional Razfa and Ayalah dances marked the New Year. The Emirates Fountain became a focal point for thousands, offering special performances, including Sparkling and Confetti shows by authentic American, Mexican, and Ukrainian bands.
