A small part of Al Mulla Plaza in Dubai collapsed on Saturday night due to the improper storage of heavy materials, causing minor injuries to two people. As a precaution, shops in Al Mulla Plaza remained closed on Sunday. The building, one of the oldest shopping centres in Dubai, features retail outlets and apartments above them. Fortunately, the apartments were not affected, and tenants were allowed to return home.
As per Dubai Media Office, "Dubai Police said that government authorities have taken swift action to manage the situation arising from the collapse of a small part of Al Mulla Plaza last night. The incident, caused by the improper storage of heavy materials, led to minor injuries to two people. Government departments responded rapidly to ensure the safety of everyone, including workers and visitors."
