MICHELIN Guide 2024: Abu Dhabi Restaurants That Took Home The Awards

Provided

The eagerly awaited second edition of the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2024 has been released, featuring a total of 46 selected restaurants spanning 21 diverse cuisines. This impressive selection showcases the ambition and passion of chefs in Abu Dhabi, earning praise from the guide's anonymous inspectors.

In the previous year, three restaurants were awarded one MICHELIN Star for their exceptional cuisine, while four establishments received a Bib Gourmand distinction for offering good food at moderate prices. The 2024 edition maintains these distinctions for all the recognised restaurants. Let's explore the complete list.

One MICHELIN Star Restaurants In Abu Dhabi

Erth has become the latest addition to Abu Dhabi's esteemed MICHELIN-starred restaurants, joining the ranks of three establishments acknowledged for their high-quality culinary offerings.

The name 'Erth', meaning 'legacy', is nestled near the historic Qasr Al Hosn, boasting a beautifully designed space inspired by the local region. The restaurant is known for its memorable cuisine, featuring modern twists on refined Emirati dishes.

Erth now stands alongside last year's MICHELIN-starred venues: Talea by Antonio Guida, Hakkasan, and 99 Sushi Bar.

Bib Gourmand Awards

Now boasting a total of six restaurants, the Bib Gourmand category welcomes two newcomers this year.

  • Oii, a charming brasserie, invites guests with warmth and offers a menu filled with sunny, fresh, and satisfying Mediterranean dishes.
  • Al Mrzab, a traditional restaurant, has earned its popularity, evident in the likelihood of customers having to wait for a table. Despite the perpetual bustling atmosphere, the kitchen exhibits evident care in preparing traditional and affordable Emirati and Kuwaiti dishes.

These additions join the four restaurants previously honoured with a Bib Gourmand in last year's inaugural guide: Almayass, Beirut Sur Mer, Otoro, and Tazal.
