Essential Service Stamps Can Now Be Obtained Online In UAE

The Ministry of Interior has launched a new model for vehicle and driver licensing services, utilising digital stamps facilitated through the UAE Pass. The UAE Pass serves as a unified digital identity in the UAE, enabling residents and visitors to access numerous government services through a single online account.

Brigadier Engineer Hussein Al Harithi, Director-General of Smart Services and Digital Security at the ministry, noted, "In line with the directives of the country's wise leadership to improve government services and enhance customer experience, we have initiated the initial implementation of digital services that necessitate the use of the stamp."

The ministry now digitally validates license certificates for vehicles and drivers using the digital stamp feature through the digital ID, eliminating the necessity for customers to visit service centres.

Subsequent service rollouts will be introduced to streamline procedures, enhancing safety and security, while saving time and effort for customers.

The digital stamp holds importance as it offers a trustworthy and officially signed digital document, with accessibility to its validity anytime and anywhere. This ensures the consistent delivery of reliable and integrated digital government services, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

The ministry guarantees efficient and effective business continuity by investing in cutting-edge technologies, adapting technology for various tasks, and addressing customer needs.
