UAE residents are set to enjoy an extended weekend from 2 to 4 December in celebration of the 52nd National Day. For the holiday period, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the operating hours for various services. These adjustments apply to Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport options, and service provider centres for the technical inspection of vehicles.
Parking In Dubai
During the Union Day holiday from Saturday, 2 December to Monday, 4 December, public parking will be free, excluding the multi-level parking terminals. Normal parking tariffs will resume on Tuesday, 5 December 2023.
Customer Happiness Centres
Throughout the holiday, Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed. However, the Smart Customer Happiness Centres located in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA's Head Office will maintain their regular operating hours, providing services around the clock.
Dubai Metro Timings
Between 30 November and 12 December, the Red and Green Lines will run according to the following schedule
Thursday to Sunday (30 November to 3 December) from 5am to 1am the next day.
Monday to Sunday (4 to 10 December) from 5am to 1am the next day.
On Monday and Tuesday (11 to 12 December), the operating hours will be from 5am to 1am the next day.
Dubai Tram Timings
Operation timings for Dubai Trams are
From (30 November to 12 December) Mondays to Saturdays from 6am to 1am am the next day, and Sundays 9am to 1am (next day).
