Apple has finally launched the much-awaited iPhone 15 line-up on Tuesday, 12 September. The company has launched four variants in the 15 series- the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Screen size for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro is 6.1 inches, and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 15 Plus and Pro Max.
In terms of storage and camera, the iPhone 15 series will boast a 48MP and 24MP camera with optical zoom range. iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 5x Telephoto camera with the longest optical zoom of any iPhone ever. The Pro series is powered by A17 Pro, the industry’s first 3-nanometer chip.
For storage and colour, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, starting at Dhs 3,399 and Dhs 3,799, respectively.
iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro max will feature an aerospace-grade titanium design, using the same alloy that spacecraft use for missions to Mars. The available colours for the Pro series are black titanium, blue titanium, natural titanium and white titanium. Pro series will have 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage capacities with prices starting at Dhs 4299 and Dhs5099, respectively.
Besides this, Apple has also replaced the USB type, and the new models will have a USB-C connector providing lightning-fast data transfer speeds, operating up to 20 times faster than USB 2.
Pre-orders for the iPhone will begin at 4pm UAE time on Friday, 15 September, with availability beginning Friday, 22 September.
