Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released four new features on the nol Pay app, to enhance the experience of passengers commuting by public transport and using it as a mode of payment.
Passengers can now easily top up their nol card from around the world at any time, through the dedicated app.
The app also allows users to apply and renew their personalised nol cards, by linking their RTA and digital accounts on the app.
Additionally, notifications are sent to the user's phone, to stay updated on the status of their application forms for personalised nol cards.
Non-personalised nol cards can now be linked to the digital account on the nol Pay app, to use the services.
The app is available on all Android, Apple, and Huawei phones.
There are four types of nol cards, adults, students, senior citizens, and people of determination, which can be used to pay at Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, public buses, marine transport and taxis. The nol cards can also be used as a mode of payment for public parking and at shops, as well as to enter tourist attractions.
