The UAE has sent two aircrafts carrying 34 tonnes of food supplies to Sudan and Chad.
The first plane, with 18 tonnes of food supply, reached Port Sudan Airport.
Carrying 16 tonnes of aid, the second plane was sent to Chad, to provide meals to Sudanese refugees in the country.
Due to a conflict between the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces from 15 April, many people in Sudan do not have access to food, water and electricity, with the aid helping in alleviating some of the issues currently faced.
The UAE has also helped 997 people from 26 nationalities find refuge in the UAE, aboard nine evacuation planes sent to Sudan.
