Dubai International (DXB) has reached over 21.2 million passengers during the first quarter of the year.
The total numbers are 55.8% higher than the same period in 2022, and are 95.6% of the number of passengers travelling through DXB in the first quarter of 2019.
The numbers are also in line with DXB retaining its position as the busiest airport in the world for the ninth year in 2022.
The top three countries with the highest number of passengers were from India with 3 million visitors, Saudi Arabia with 1.6 million and the UK with 1.4 million passengers.
Total flights from DXB reached 100,840, which is a 1.6% increase from 2019.
