Is your little fashionista a Project Runway fan, keen to learn how to become a famous fashion designer? If so, Fashion Designer Kidz might be just the thing. Founded by a qualified and experienced British designer and teacher, FDK offers a cache of fabulous, fun and informative classes and workshops for children aged between seven and 16 years old. With a focus on developing skills, style and creativity, FDK aims to help all budding fashionistas harness their ability to create unique clothing and accessories from scratch.
FDK offers a variety of programmes to suit every budding Coco Chanel, including Beginner Fashion Design, Accessories Design, Fashion Illustration, Reduce Reuse Recycle and FDK parties and events. Classes and workshops are restricted to groups of 10 and run throughout the year at a number of locations.
The schedule is Sunday (4-6pm) Safari Kid Art Studio Jumeirah (age 7-11), Wednesday (4-6pm) DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates (age 8-11), Wednesday (6.30-9.30pm) DUCTAC (ladies’ class), Thursday (4-6pm) DUCTAC (age 12-15), Saturday (2-4pm) AIST Royal Education Center, Umm Sequim (age 8-11), and Saturday (4.30-6.30pm) AIST Royal Education Center (age 12-15).
