Abu Dhabi’s dining scene shone bright at the Michelin Guide 2026 reveal, held at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. Three restaurants, Erth, Hakkasan and Talea by Antonio Guida, proudly retained their Michelin one-star distinction.
Erth, located near Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, is rooted in Emirati culinary traditions and is also featured on Michelin's 'Best-of Guides' in Abu Dhabi restaurants with the most beautiful interiors. Hakkasan, located within Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel, is well known for its pan-Asian cuisine. Talea by Antonio Guida, also located within Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel, is an Italian restaurant under the direction of Chef Antonia Guida who had cemented his culinary reputation in Milan.
Three restaurants, Bua Thai Café, 3Fils Abu Dhabi, and Goldfish, earned the coveted Bib Gourmand recognition for their high-quality dishes at great value, while seven others retained their spots. 3Fils Abu Dhabi and Goldfish won the recognition for their contemporary take on Japanese cuisine at good value, while Bua Thai Café made the list for its generous and affordable offerings of classic Thai dishes. Seven other restaurants which retained their Bib Gourmand distinction include ryba, Mika, t’azal, Al Mrzab, Beirut Sur Mer, Otoro and Almayass.
Eight new entries also joined the Michelin Guide's selection this year, Cipriani Dolci, Antonia, Novikov Abu Dhabi, Villa Mamas, Taparelle, Pincode by Kunal Kapur, Strawfire by Ross Shonhan and Sand and Koal.

Culinary innovation and excellence were also celebrated in this year's Michelin Guide event, with international chefs, critics and food enthusiasts gathering to honour Abu Dhabi’s evolving gastronomy. Special awards also marked the occasion as Chef Vittorio Nania of Villa Toscana at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi won the 'Young Chef Award', Ray’s Grill at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers received the 'Service Award', and 3Fils Abu Dhabi was named 'Opening of the Year'.
