Skittle nails are a fun nail art trend to try out that is super easy and the perfect, elevated look for beginners. To try it out, pick five different colours in the colour scheme of your choice from your arsenal, and paint each nail with a different colour.

Smile Nails

As seen on everybody's favourite musician, Harry Styles popularised this trendy nail look. To get the look, paint your nails with the base colour of your choice, preferably yellow. Pick a thin nail art brush and draw a smiley on your nails.

Glitter Gradient

Gradient nail art has come back in recent years, and to add some more dimension to the look, always add some glitter. Pick a colour and paint your nails. Pick your favourite glitter and put some of the nail polish on a sponge. Dab the sponge on the top half of your nail and your look is complete.

Dotted Nails

Dotted nails are another easy design that is great for beginners. Paint your nails in a solid colour of your choice. Use dotting tools and place dots of either the same colour or different colours all over the nail. If you want to add a bit more to the nail art, use glitter nail polish for the dots. If you do not have dotting tools in your nail art collection, use toothpicks to add the dots to the nail.
