Comedy fans are in for a real treat as the hugely popular stand-up comic Jo Koy is coming to Dubai early next year. The Filipino-American comedian, real name Joseph Glenn Herbert, is making his Dubai debut with a one off show at the Coca-Cola Arena on 20 January 2020.
Koy, who took the title of Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year in 2018 at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, is currently on a tour that is taking in North America, New Zealand, Australia, before he visits Dubai and then the Philippines, where his mother originates from.
Koy is well known for his weekly pod cast 'The Koy Pond' as well as his Netflix series 'Jo Koy: Live from Seattle' and 'Jo Koy: Comin' In Hot'.
Speaking on the announcement of his Dubai appearance, Koy said, "This will be my first time performing in Dubai, and I’m so excited I get to do it at the Coca-Cola Arena. This has been a dream of mine, and I can’t wait to get there and make you all laugh. Get ready Dubai!”
