You may know him as The Mountain from Game of Thrones, but proving he’s just as strong as he looks, Hafthor Bjornsson was named the World's Ultimate Strongman. After triumphing over 13 of the world's strongest men in the Beasts in the Middle East championship held at Bab Al Sham resort in Dubai on Friday, Bjornsson took home the title.
The Icelandic juggernaut took the top prize of $75,000 in the United Arab Emirates after beating Brian Shaw, who was runner-up, and third-place finisher Mateusz Kieliszkowski.
The event demonstrated fantastic displays of strength, power and physicality.
