Dubai Gets Its First Floating Pool

Dubai is very well known for its reputation of surprising its residents and visitors, with new concepts consistently opening. The latest addition to the leisure scene is Dubai's first floating swimming pool, just 50 metres offshore in the waters of the Palm Jumeirah.

This stunning new destination is an extension of Breeze Beach Grill at Club Vista Mare, and is accessible by a 50 metre walkway.

The 20 metre long, 10 metre wide, 1.2 metre deep pool features an extensive deck area with sunbeds, and is attached to the seabed using the Seaflex anchor system.

This new destination is just perfect to relax in the sun during the day and transforms into a lounge by night to host private parties with a stunning view.

“This stunning new attraction is unique because it allows guests to choose from a fresh water dip in the pool or salt water swim in the Arabian Gulf, in one offshore location. It’s been constructed over the summer to be ready for the winter season, and is already the talk of the town,” said Thorsten Ries, Managing Director, Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure.

Day time entry to the pool is for adults only, and costs Dhs 200 per person, Dhs 100 of which is redeemable on food and drinks from Breeze. Towels are provided. Call 04 568 3000.
