Dubai comedy fans are in for a treat this November as Egyptian-American comedian and satirist Bassem Youssef takes the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on 16 November. Known worldwide as 'The Egyptian Jon Stewart', Youssef has built a reputation for blending fearless satire with personal storytelling, making audiences laugh while also sparking thought and reflection.
Before turning to comedy, Youssef was a heart surgeon in Cairo, but his sharp humour and political sketches quickly gained international recognition. Today, Youssef's career spans stand-up performances, acclaimed TV appearances, and roles in shows such as 'Mo' on Netflix, 'Ramy' on Hulu, and 'Upload' on Prime Video. Most recently, Youssef was named as a judge on the upcoming season of 'Arabs Got Talent', set to return later this year after a five-year break.
Youssef's Dubai show promises a mix of comedy, identity, and bold social commentary, delivered in his trademark witty style.
