Dubai is gearing up for one of the most intense sporting events of the season as the Slap Fighting Championship returns on Friday, 26 July, at The Space Events and Sports venue in Dubai Investment Park.
Slap fighting is a sport with simple rules. Deliver the most effective slap with an open hand while the opponent absorbs the blow without defending. The slapping will go on for a set number of rounds or until one of the participants is knocked out. However, this is not just a simple competition. It’s a test of will, power, and sheer grit.
Presented by Eddie Hall, the former World’s Strongest Man turned slap-fighting superstar, the event will feature 32 fearless fighters from six countries battling it out in 16 face-to-face bouts. There are no gloves, no footwork, just raw nerve, steel chins, and open palms.
Known for its dramatic, no-holds-barred format, slap fighting has quickly gained a following in Dubai.
