Abu Dhabi’s ultimate indoor fitness festival is back and bigger than ever. Now in its fourth edition, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) has officially kicked off at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The venue includes 37,500 square metres of air-conditioned space, making it the region’s largest indoor sporting arena. Open daily until 21 August, the mega-event offers a cool summer escape packed with action, challenges and community fun for all ages.
With 52 professional-grade courts and activity zones, the lineup spans everything from basketball, football and badminton to table tennis, padel, volleyball, and even chess. A newly expanded 1.2km four-lane indoor running track sets the scene for casual joggers and serious sprinters alike.
Fitness fans can also gear up for HYROX, the global indoor fitness race making its capital debut on 19 July as part of the ADSS. Plus, the all-new Club Zone brings high-impact sports like boxing, Muay Thai, weightlifting and judo under one roof.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, with children's play zones, summer camps, and over 50 community events, fitness classes, yoga, meditation sessions and wellness activities throughout the summer. There’s even a post-workout recovery area to stretch and unwind after all the excitement.
Open from 6am to 1am daily, the venue at ADNEC offers free parking and diverse food and beverage outlets.
Registration start at Dhs 50. For more information and registration, visit the ADSS website.
