Abu Dhabi residents, brace yourselves for a night of music and fun as British music legends, Take That, are gearing up for a one-night-only performance at Abu Dhabi's Etihad Park on Friday, 25 October. Hosted at Yas Island, the event is arranged by MAC Global in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, Miral and Ethara.
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald of Take That will be bringing their 'This Life On Tour' to Abu Dhabi. And commenting on their tour, the iconic band said, "We are so looking forward to coming back to the United Arab Emirates later this year. It’s going to be great to see everyone again and perform the songs from our new album 'This Life', as well as all the favourites, and a few surprises!"
Formed in 1990, the band has topped the Official UK Albums Chart nine times and the Official UK Singles Chart twelve times. Some of their biggest hits include 'Pray', 'Sure', 'Back For Good', 'Never Forget', 'Patience', and 'Greatest Day'. Take That has become one of the most beloved and enduring bands of their era.
Apart from their chart success and sales of over 45 million records worldwide, Take That are famous for their incredible live performances. They hold the record for the most performances at London’s O2 with 34 headline shows. In 2011, their 'Progress' tour set box office records by selling over 1.1 million tickets in under 24 hours. In 2019, the band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the sell-out 'Odyssey' tour, playing 38 dates to over 650,000 fans in 29 arenas and 9 stadiums.
