Agenda For 2023 Sheikh Zayed Festival Announced

The much-awaited Sheikh Zayed Festival returns to Abu Dhabi's Al Wathba area from 17 November 2023 to 9 March 2024. The organising committee has revealed the main highlights of this 112-day event. According to the authorities, this year's festival will showcase diverse events, programs, and engaging activities centred on heritage, emphasising the UAE's origins and connecting present generations with the nation's rich history and culture.

Held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the 2023 edition of the festival will offer a comprehensive programme of cultural, heritage and entertainment activities. 

To distinguish this edition from its predecessors, the organising committee has curated a program that guarantees unique and varied activities. This strategy aims to elevate the festival's standing as a prominent local and global event while amplifying its success.

The 2023 Sheikh Zayed Festival anticipates vast involvement from UAE government authorities, local entities, and several international participants.

Within the festival, an all-encompassing Heritage Village will showcase various elements of local heritage, featuring traditional industries and crafts. The emphasis lies in creating a family-oriented, engaging, and educational setting through a mix of recreational, social, and cultural activities.

Other highlights include; Al Wathba custom show, the children’s city, the fun fair city, the glow flower garden, the house of fear, the art district, various competitions and draws, as well as many other surprises and activations.

Lastly, the event plans to unveil tons of surprises throughout its activities, which will be disclosed soon.
