Gamers get excited as the Dubai Esports and Games Festival is set to return to Dubai this June.
Held in the South Halls of Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, the event will run for five days from 21 to 25 June.
Launched in 2022, the second edition will host esports tournaments, a consumer show, panel talks and more.
An education engagement programme will be available to school and university students, highlighting the benefits of gaming and esports and creating innovative career paths for future generations.
At the event, students will be able to explore the Minecraft Education Challenge, which is a Dubai-based map of the game as well as participate in the MakeCode competition, highlighting their coding and gaming skills.
The GameExpo Summit will also be held, where attendees can get insights from over 100 speakers into topics in the gaming industry, including Metaverse, AI and Web3.
