The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for the public sector.
The paid holidays will fall from 29 Ramadan, which is Thursday, 20 April, till 3 Shawwal.
Based on the sighting of the moon, if the Holy Month of Ramadan lasts for 29 days, the holidays will run till Sunday, 23 April.
If Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the holidays will run till Monday, 24 April.
Additionally, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has also announced that the holidays for the private sector will be the same as the public sector.
