According to the International Astronomical Centre, Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall on Friday, 21 April in most Islamic countries.
It is predicted that the crescent moon will be seen on Thursday, 20 April, making it 29 Ramadan and Eid marked on the next day.
People that have their weekends fall on Saturday and Sunday, with the addition of the holiday on Friday, will get a three-day long break.
However, the official start of Eid will be announced by the UAE Moon Sighting Committee.
