Sultan Al Neyadi Receives NASA Golden Pin

Sultan Al Neyadi, the Emirati astronaut, has been awarded the golden pin from NASA, while onboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The golden pin is awarded to astronauts that have achieved high levels of training that allow them to conduct multiple experiments on the ISS.

Sultan Al Neyadi said, "It is a great honour for me to be part of this historic mission, representing my country, the UAE, and to receive NASA’s golden astronaut pin. I will wear this pin as a symbol of the commitment I made when I started on this journey."

Crew-6 took off for the ISS on Thursday, 2 March, from the Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and has since already completed over a month in space.
