A new multi-use childcare villa has been inaugurated to support children who do not receive the right parental care.
Launched by the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, the villa in Al Aweer has the capacity to cater to 14 children, providing a place for boys aged 3 to 11 years old and girls aged 13 years old, and helping in developing their physical and psychological well-being.
A number of services will be offered including residential, psychological, social, legal, health and educational support, with interactive activities, entertainment programmes and various initiatives held to empower the children.
The initiative is in line with the UAE's aim to support and ensure children are raised in a safe environment.
