UAE Sends Ambulances To Syria

The UAE has sent 10 highly equipped ambulances to Syria.

The initiative held by the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence along with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), provided ambulances to help with medical aid to the victims affected by the earthquakes.

With the ambulances sent equipped to go off-road into rugged terrain and deliver medical services, the medical staff will be able to provide the right care to the people.

On 6 February, Syria and Turkey were hit with two earthquakes in the morning and afternoon, measuring 7.8 and 7.6 on the Richter scale.

Over 50,000 have been reported dead in both countries, with many injured.
