The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH) along with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Department has launched a new flexible healthcare plan.
The new policy caters to entrepreneurs and investors, their families and staff.
With the policy, individuals will be able to benefit from medical coverage of up to Dhs 150,000 annually, get emergency costs covered, avail 20% copay of the cost of all outpatient treatment services and 30% copay on medication.
Several plans are available, with the healthcare plan applicable at various healthcare providers in Abu Dhabi.
The plan is applicable to individuals with salaries of Dhs 5,000 and over, and aims to provide some of the best healthcare services available to the public.
To avail the service, individuals with their current health insurance expiring should contact the health insurance providers to ensure they are eligible for the insurance plan.
