Andy Murray is set to return to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
Accepting a second consecutive wildcard from organisers, the tennis icon will compete in the championships running from 19 February to 4 March.
Murray has won three Grand Slam titles including the US open in 2012 and Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016, as well as gold at the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016.
In 2017, Andy Murray beat Fernando Verdasco in Dubai and was named the victor, having previously reached the finals in 2012.
Andy Murray said, ''Coming back to Dubai brings with it a lot of good memories, not least 2017 and the final with Fernando. My form is improving and my game is getting better, so the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships provides another great opportunity for me to continue to climb back up the rankings.''
The lineup for the championship now includes World No.1 Novak Djokovic, last year’s champion Andrey Rublev, 2021 US Open winner Daniil Medvedev and more.
The women's tournament will run from 19 to 25 February and will see 10 of some of the world's best players participate including Aryna Sabalenka, winner of the 2023 Australian Open.
Tickets are currently on sale starting from Dhs 55 and are available on the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships website.
