Route For The Pink Caravan Ride Announced

The official route by The Pink Caravan Ride, the annual breast cancer awareness initiative, has been announced.

The 11th edition of the ride will begin on 4 February in light of World Cancer Day, and will span across the seven emirates in the UAE.

Free breast cancer medical screenings will be available throughout the ride, including clinical, ultrasound, and mammograms for both women and men.

The first day will raise awareness of the most prominent and preventable types of cancer, including breast, skin, colon, prostate, testicular, childhood, and cervical cancer.

On 4 February, the ride will begin at Al Heera Beach in Sharjah, with the official opening ceremony held at 8am, before beginning at 9am and reaching the Heart of Sharjah at Al Hisn at 11.30am.

At 3pm, the ride will begin at Thumbay Hospital Ajman and end at Al Zorah Marina 1 at 6pm.

On 5 February, the ride will begin at DIFC Gate Avenue at 8am, passing through Marasi Parking, Skydive Dubai and JBR, ending at 3.50pm at City Walk.

Day 3 on 6 February will begin in Sharjah at BEEAH Group at 8am, passing through Sharjah Media City, Sharjah TV, Al Jada, and Sharjah University City Arena, before ending at University Hospital at 4.30pm.

On 7 February, the ride will begin at Umm Al Quwain at 9pm, passing by UAQ Hospital and ending at noon at Kite Beach.

The second ride for the day will start at Hamriyah Fisherman's Marina at 2.30pm, before arriving at 4pm at Hamriyah Beach.

Starting in Fujairah at Kalba Waterfront at 8am on 8 February, the ride will come to an end at East Coast Fishing Charter Kalba Corniche at 9.15am.

Starting point 2 will be at 10am at Kalba Corniche and will end at Fujairah Umbrella Beach noon time.

At 1pm, starting point 3 will begin from Old Souq Khorfakkan, arriving at 5pm at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre.

The Ras Al Khaimah route will start on 9 February at 9.30pm from Saqr Hospital, passing by Cove Rotana Resort and ending at Mina Al Arab Lagoon at 4.30pm.

The last day of the ride will be in Abu Dhabi, beginning at Wahat Al Karama at 10am, passing by the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and ending at Health Point at 12.30pm, with a closing ceremony held at 6pm in Al Hudayriat Island.
