The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has extended the deadline for converting unlimited to limited-period work contracts.
Initially set for 2 February, the date to complete by is on 31 December.
Companies that do not comply with the changes in time, will be liable to receive fines.
The limited contracts cannot last for three years and can be renewed or extended, if agreed upon by both parties, when the time period comes closer.
