The New Year's Eve celebrations at the Sheikh Zayed Festival at Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi broke four different Guinness World Records.
The records broken were for 3 separate firework displays and a new record set for a drone show.
The firework display records were for the most girandola fireworks launched in 30 seconds, another for the most firework pinwheels launched in 30 seconds and a third for the most repeated firework image formed in 30 seconds.
The record for the drone show was for the largest formation of a Quick Response (QR) code formed by drones.
Over one million visitors from around the UAE and abroad gathered at Al Wathba on New Years Eve and witnessed firework displays and done shows that lasted around an hour.
