A total lunar eclipse will take place on 8 November.
The phenomenon occurs when the sun, moon and the earth align, and the moon is in the Earth's shadow, causing it to appear red.
The total lunar eclipse or blood moon will only be visible in some parts of the world and not in the UAE.
According to the Dubai Astronomy Group, a penumbral eclipse can be seen in the UAE, where the shadowed part will be fainter on the moon.
This is the second total eclipse of the year, with the first eclipse taking place in May.
Taking place from 2.16pm to 3.41pm, the rare event will be the last one till 14 March 2025.
