Birth and death certificates can now be issued at private hospitals.
As announced by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), previously, the certificates could only be issued at public hospitals.
Currently, HMS Mirdif Hospital and Medcare Hospital for Women and Children provide the certificates..
By early 2023, more hospitals will be included after DHA reviews the procedures and processes of the hospitals, to ensure it is in line with the set protocols.
E-certificates and physical certificates are also provided at DHA’s Customer Happiness Centre in Al Jaddaf.
The Al Karama and Al Rashidiya medical fitness centres will no longer offer the certificates.
