The first ever Mushrif Mountain Bike Race will be held this October.
Organised by Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Municipality, the race will be held on 23 October at 6am, at the recently opened mountain bike track in Mushrif Park at Al Khawaneej.
The race will be held with four categories, the directors of government departments category for a distance of 9km, the community category with a distance of 18km, the amateur category for a distance of 37km, and the professional category with a distance of 56km.
To add more enjoyment to the race, participants will have to bike through trees, curves and jumps.
Registration for the challenge closes on 20 October.
