Three new exhibitions are featured at Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi, as part of the fall lineup.
Running till 2 February 2023, the exhibitions will highlight a variety of artistic expressions.
'Fahrelnissa and the Institutes: Towards The Sky', focuses on the works of female artists, that are known for pioneering the modern and contemporary art scene in Jordan, including Fahrelnissa Zeid, Wijdan, Hind Nasser and Ufemia Rizk.
The artists created a progressive and bold legacy, which displays the rich institutional history of the artists.
The next exhibition is the first digital art exhibition titled 'Life is a Circus'.
Emirati artist Jalal Luqman along with 22 UAE-based digital artists, explore the theme of the ironies of contemporary life through the exhibition.
'Lullabies: A Journey Through Song' explores a collection of sleep songs from various regions around the world, including the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
The exhibition goes on a nostalgic journey and highlights the history, context and use of the songs, through different media forms like video animations, interactive games and exploration zones.
Cultural Foundation is open Saturday to Thursday from 9am to 8pm, and on Friday from 2pm to 8pm.
