The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced that a new digital platform will be launched to pay taxes and obtain refunds.
The platform integrates government entities like the UAE Central Bank and national technology-based programs including UAE PASS, to log in, comply with tax returns and simplify user processes.
'EmaraTax' will enhance the use for taxpayers to benefit from FTA's services.
Following extensive assessment, consultation and development, the platform will offer convenient self-help and service request options for individual taxpayers, tax agents, legal representatives, foreign missions and diplomats, customs bodies and verification agencies.
The app will be launched after the new platform goes live in November.
