Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, captured a video of Jupiter.
The video was uploaded on Instagram and captioned, "Burj Khalifa meets the king of planets! The planets closest approach to Earth in 59 years" and showcased the Burj Khalifa before zooming into Jupiter behind the iconic landmark.
On 26 September, Jupiter was at the closest point to Earth, with the event previously taking place 59 years earlier in 1963.
The next time Jupiter will be this close to the Earth will be in 2129.
