Dubai Mounted Police Station in eight months has arrested 71 wanted criminals and seized 915 vehicles.
Over 1,182 security patrols have been deployed and 352 fines issued in eight months.
Around 100 horses are part of the patrol and help in increasing the safety and peace in Dubai.

During the first half of the year, a criminal gang was tracked down with the help of the mounted police patrol.
The mounted police patrol also participates in shows, competitions and parades, provides horse riding for people of determination and also offers training for Dubai Police Academy cadet officers.
