The Ministry of Education has announced a code of conduct for all education professionals.
The initiative aims to raise awareness and the responsibility of the educational staff.
The code of conduct is based on five key values, honesty and dedication, sincerity and integrity, justice and equality, compassion and forgiveness, and respect.
The 10-point code of conduct states that children should be protected from bullying and mistreatment, positive values in students should be encouraged and students should be motivated to participate in national activities and events.
Additionally, Emirati culture and traditions should be respected as well as be respectful towards different religions and cultures.
Educational staff should also refrain from discussing personal and confidential information about students and their families.
