Bloom World Academy opened its doors to the public.
The school, an IB candidate school, is dedicated to promoting a family and life balance and is the first to offer a later start time as well as flexible timings.
The new academic year began with the welcome of 280 students from 53 different nationalities at the Al Barsha South campus.
To help the students get situated in the school community, a wide range of activities will continue to take place throughout the week, by encouraging older and younger students to interact, the launch of school houses, the student's composing the official song for the school and more.
John Bell, Principal of Bloom World Academy said, "I, along with the incredible teaching team at Bloom World Academy, am so happy to be celebrating the official launch of the school this week so we can bring to life the progressive ideas, thinking and ways of working that make us a school with a difference. Welcoming our first intake of bright-eyed, enthusiastic and motivated students yesterday was a morning to remember. The future is bright for our students and we can’t wait to see what they go on to achieve with us here at BWA."
