Dubai Opera, the popular destination for performing arts in Dubai, has reached 1 million visitors.
Opened to the public on 31 August 2016, Dubai Opera hit the milestone on the eve of its sixth anniversary.
Shaped to resemble a dhow, over 1,200 concerts and shows have been held from Mary Poppins, Les Misérables, Phantom of The Opera and Mamma Mia and as well as famous opera singers including Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Anna Netrebko and more.
Since its opening, Dubai Opera has won several awards including 'Best Theatrical Performance' at the Timeout Dubai Music and Nightlife Awards 2019 for Othello, 'Best Theatrical Performance' at the Timeout Dubai Nightlife Awards 2017 and 'Favourite Show' in 2017 for the What's On Awards Dubai for Les Misérables.
Dubai Opera is set to also offer a great lineup this year with shows including a ballet performance of Romeo and Juliet, an opera of La Traviata, a pop concert for Ghostly Kisses and more.
