RTA Increases Digital Revenue By 32%

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has seen an increase in digital revenue in 2021 by Dhs 3.5 billion. 

The digital revenue collected in 2020 was at Dhs 2.65 billion, which is a 32% increase in 2021.

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority revealed that the revenue collected was through the 309 digital channel services.

Digital transactions reached 676 million in 2021, which is a 28% increase from the 527 million transactions in 2020.

The number of registered users on the platforms is over two million with downloads of RTA’s smart apps crossing 6.1 million.
