The wearing of masks in indoor public spaces will be strictly enforrced tthroughout the UAE it was stated in an extaordinary news briefing, as reported daily cases of COVID-19 continue to increase and have more than doubled in a week.
It was also announced in the briefing that the green status on the Al Hosn application needed to enter public spaces in Abu Dhabi will be valid for 14 days from a negative PCR test for vaccinated indivuals. This is reduced from 30 days and comes into effect on 15 June and on 20 June for schools.
Residents haver been reminded that they should self isolate at home for 10 days if they test positive and a breach of this is a criminal offence.
