Abu Dhabi Police have informed the public that vehicles in the emirate can get auctioned for exceeding traffic fines.
The vehicles will be confiscated for traffic fines of over Dhs 7,000 and if not paid in full within three months, the vehicle will be auctioned.
Drivers that are not able to pay traffic fines in full can pay fines in instalments within a year through five different banks, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mashreq Al Islami Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank.
